Lord, help me become as a child
Having a heart of faith to trust you
Even when I can’t see all you do,
Just because you are my Abba.
Give me child-like eyes,
To see your works around me
As though for the very first time,
Making me laugh for joy
At the sheer wonder of it all.
Help me feel safe as a protected child,
Cradled in my Father’s loving arms
Where I can hear the beat of your heart
And know the strength of your love
Just because I am yours.
